Booking, Cancellation & Refund Terms

Last updated: Jun 27, 2026

These terms apply to travel services arranged by OO Travel and complement our Terms of Use. They reflect the Brazilian Consumer Code (CDC) and the conditions of the underlying travel suppliers.

1. Quotes & confirmation

Quotes are valid for the period stated and depend on supplier availability and price at the time of issue. A booking is confirmed only after payment (or the agreed deposit) is received and the supplier confirms.

2. Prices & payment

Prices are in Brazilian Reais (BRL) unless stated otherwise and may include service fees. We accept PIX and card installments processed by Mercado Pago. Taxes, surcharges and currency variations may apply per supplier rules.

3. Right of withdrawal (CDC Art. 49)

For purchases made remotely you may withdraw within 7 days of contracting, except where the service has already started or where suppliers (e.g. airlines, hotels) impose non-refundable conditions that were disclosed before purchase. Our service/handling fees may be retained for work already performed.

4. Cancellations & changes

Cancellations and date or name changes are subject to the rules and penalties of each supplier (fare class, hotel rate, cruise line), which may be partly or fully non-refundable. We will always show the applicable conditions before you confirm.

5. Refunds

Where a refund is due, we process it after the supplier refunds us, using the original payment method. Timelines depend on the supplier and the payment provider. Our non-refundable service fee covers the advisory and arrangement work already delivered.

6. Visas, documents & insurance

We prepare and submit documentation but cannot guarantee visa or entry approval, which is at the sole discretion of the relevant authority. Government and consular fees are non-refundable. We strongly recommend travel insurance; you are responsible for valid passports, visas and health requirements.

7. Force majeure

We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond reasonable control (natural events, strikes, government acts, pandemics). In such cases supplier policies and applicable consumer law govern any remedies.

8. Complaints

Contact us first at omar@ootravel.com.br and we will work to resolve your issue. You may also use Brazil's consumer channels (consumidor.gov.br and your local PROCON).
